This time we want to go on pilgrimage to important holy places, visit monasteries, and take part in a prayer festival.

Chöje Lama Palmo who spent much time in India and Nepal will meet us in Delhi and fly to Kathmandu with us. There, she will show us monasteries, holy places and places of cultural interest. Of course there will be time for an extensive shopping trip!

We are planing to proceed with a chartered bus towards India and visit Lumbini, Buddha Shakyamuni’s birth place, Kusinara, Sarnath, Vaisali, Nalanda, and Rajgir.

Our last stop will be in Bodhgaya, Buddha’s place of enlightenment. There we will participate in a seven day prayer festival, the Kagyu Monlam.
