Palpung Europe News April 2017
Chöje Lama Palmo led a group of students to India to receive the transmissions of year two of Mahamudra Ngedon Gyatsho from Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa Rinpoche. The transmisson took place from April 1-7, 2017 at the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel in Delhi with almost 800 students who had previously taken a specific practice commitment. This year, the Four Extraordinary Preliminaries were completed. Among others, Guru Vajradhara explained the importance of the guru not only existing in Vajrayana but also in Hinayana and Mahayana. The last day Guru Vajradhara bestowed a Buddha Maitreya empowerment and a never ending line of students offered body, speech and mind to our guru. We are also able to bring back many ritual objects and other necessities to furnish Chamgon Dorje Chang’s residence.
